WHAT: 6th Grade Foundations is a time for 6th grade students to explore and understand the foundational Truths of the Christian faith. We will explore theology, understand the narrative of the Bible from Old Testament and New Testament, and finish the year with apologetics. The last Sunday morning will be a Graduation on May 10th in front of the congregation during the 11am service.

Join us for our Oakwood Kids Fall LAUNCH! Pancakes and Sausages will be served from 10:30-1:00 on September 7th. We will have a bouncy house, face painting and outdoor games. This is to celebrate the beginning of Sunday School and provide a great space for kids and families to hang out and build community.

Oakwood Youth is back in full swing on September 3, 2025 for the school year! LAUNCH night is always filled with fun, food, friends, prizes, worship, an awesome message from God's Word. Oakwood Youth LAUNCH is a great first opportunity to invite friends from school to Oakwood Youth for the school year!

Due to Lake Waconia Beach closing, there are some changes regarding the Kids & Preteen Beach Bash. This event will be held at the same location (8170 Paradise Ln, Waconia, MN 55387) but this will now be a picnic style event!

Families are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket as well as a sack dinner. Snacks will be provided and there will be games, crafts, and other activities to enjoy for the night. We will meet at the lawn in front of the beach. 

Baptism is an act of outward obedience to Jesus after making a personal commitment to follow Him. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and would like to take this step of obedience and be baptized or just want to learn more about Believer’s Baptism, please let us know by registering and a staff member will contact you.

The Baptisms will take place at Lake Waconia Regional Beach. Please sign up for the date that works for you!

A night of Preteen where students will come and experience community with their peers in a fun way! They will come to play games, eat pancakes, and watch a movie! Students are encouraged to invite their friends.

All INCOMING 6th graders are invited come to our 6th grade party! This will be a great night to get connected and informed on what you can expect when you join Oakwood Youth. 

If you are between the ages of 18-24, whatever life-stage you find yourself in, this is a place to connect with a community. We want you to find a place to belong, share life, and grow in your faith. Come join us on Tuesday Nights from 6:30-8:30pm every week for food, games, and connection.

All MS (6-8 grade) youth are invited to join us at the Waconia Ice Arena for MAY FRENZY! We have rented out the space for an awesome time and there will be some fun competitions, free time, activities, pizza, and more! There will be something for everyone and we want you there! The cost is $5 and it covers the space rental, pizza, and all the activities for the evening! Don't miss it and we want you to invite your friends to this great night!

This is a 3-hour conference for parents, grandparents, and spiritual parents of 0-12th grade kids! We want to provide a time of encouragement, equipping, and excitement around investing in the spiritual life of the Next Generation. Author and speaker Greg Speck will be joining us as our keynote speaker. We are providing several breakouts for every age and stage of kids, including Attachment Theory and Parenting, Intentional Rights of Passage, Calming the Chaos for Young Children, The 5 Love Languages and Parenting, Practical Parenting Tips & Best Bedtime Ever, The Mystery of Middle School, and Engaging Technology as a Parent. This for any parent, grandparent, or spiritual parent of the Next Generation to invest in building lifelong followers of Jesus in their home and through their influence.
