What does Wednesday Night look like?

7:30 - 8:15pm Community Time During this time, High School students will check-in at our check-in station, play games (9-Square, Gaga Ball, Ping Pong, Nintendo Switch, etc.) and enjoy time together.
8:15 - 8:45pm Large Group All students will gather in the Worship Center for great student-led worship, creative elements, large group teaching, and small serve opportunities.
8:45 - 9:30pm Small Groups All students will transition to Small Groups to engage in deeper community and gain tools for studying God's Word in a more relational context. Small Groups are an emphasis at Oakwood Youth! Real growth comes when students bring the Bible into real life together. We have great Small Group leaders who are committed to helping students dive deeper.

Can I bring my friends?

Everyone is always invited and we encourage students to invite friends to participate!

High School Curriculum

EXODUS

SERIES OVERVIEW: God created and establishes His Covenant with Abraham in the book of Genesis. Then, we get to the book of Exodus, the Israelites are enslaved to the Egyptians, and God begins a series of events that will lead them out of Egypt, into the Wilderness, and into a right relationship with Him. God rescues His people, God redeems His people, and God restores His people - all for the purpose of having a relationship with His people. This Fall series will be a deep, intentional study through the book of Exodus, do not miss out.

11th & 12th Grade Deeper

WHAT: A large part of our mission and vision at Oakwood is to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus! One of the areas we recognize is the most challenging is the time between high school and the next step. After hearing this need from students, we are launching 11th and 12th Grade Deeper. This is an opportunity for students to explore deeper aspects of Christian living. God's Word is living and active, but sometimes it is challenging to navigate how to align our lives' with this Truth in all areas.
